The 2022 Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS is the perfect vehicle for anyone who’s looking for a sports car that is reliable, fast, and fun.
The Cayman 718 GT4 RS is built with a 911 GT3’s 4.0-liter engine that produces 493 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. This engine drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK twin-clutch automatic transmission and compared to the standard 718 Cayman GT4, the GT4 RS has bigger brakes and 49 fewer pounds.
The car comes standard with 19-inch wheels and 245/35ZR19 front tires, while 20-inch wheels are optional. The weight distribution is 47/53 percent front to rear when equipped with an optional rear spoiler and 44/56 percent without it.
The Cayman 718 GT4 RS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds with the manual transmission or 4.1 seconds with the dual clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Top speed is 193 mph when equipped with an optional rear spoiler and 191 mph without it. The fuel economy numbers vary depending on which transmission you use: DCT has an EPA estimated rating of 18/24 mpg city/highway; manual has an EPA estimated rating of 20/25 mpg city/highway.
