The Metro Motorcar Club (MMC) was proud to see several of our dedicated members join forces with the 19th Annual Rides to Remember event, hosted by Ferrari of Atlanta. This incredible day, held on Saturday, September 27th, at the Atlanta Motorsport Park (AMP) in Dawsonville, GA, was entirely focused on utilizing our shared passion for automobiles for a profound purpose.

Rides to Remember is an event dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Our participating MMC members were thrilled to collaborate with Ferrari clients and other sports car owners and enthusiasts, taking these incredible children—and their siblings—for the ride of their lives on the track. The goal of the event is to provide families facing pediatric cancer with a much-needed escape from their daily challenges, allowing them to enjoy moments of pure joy and fun in cool cars.
Our Mission in Action
This participation perfectly aligns with the mission of Metro Motorcar Club: “DOING GOOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD”.
As a club, we strive to bring cars, community, and giving together. We have previously hosted events like the Caliente Cruise-In, where we collected socks, and a summer show at Pontoon Brewing that included a school supply drive. Utilizing our epic rides and community spirit to serve families facing tough circumstances at Rides to Remember is a powerful expression of our commitment to our mission.
Thanking Our Dedicated Members and Sponsors
A massive thank you goes out to the MMC members who registered as drivers! We invite anyone with a cool car and a big smile to light up their day to join. Your dedication helped provide pediatric cancer patients with an experience they will never forget—a Ride to Remember.
We also recognize the immense importance of generous volunteers, compassionate donors, and sponsors. Events like Rides to Remember help raise funds for three esteemed charities: CURE Childhood Cancer, Ronald McDonald House Charities (specifically the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities), and Camp Sunshine. This event relies heavily on the dedication and support of these groups.
We are honored to have played a part in this extraordinary day and look forward to continuing to use the power of the car community to serve Atlanta and beyond!
