The Cooks & Cars F1 Watch Party, hosted at the Big Green Egg Culinary Center, was nothing short of a spectacular event that blended the thrill of Formula 1 with an epicurean delight, courtesy of Chef Guy Anderson. Guests were treated to a delectable brunch spread that could only be described as a feast for the senses. The menu featured mouth-watering scrambled eggs with peppers and onions, savory sausage biscuits, delightful ham & cheese sliders, alongside sweet donuts and freshly brewed coffee—all masterfully prepared on the Big Green Egg, showcasing the culinary prowess of Chef Anderson.
But the indulgence didn’t stop at the brunch. The event also doubled as a showcase of automotive excellence, drawing members from the Ferrari Club of America Georgia Chapter as well as enthusiasts from the Metro Motorcar Club. The array of cars on display was both breathtaking and diverse, showcasing models like the sleek Ferrari F8 Spyder, the iconic Ferrari 458, the stunning Porsche 718 Spyder, and the powerful AMG E43.
Not to be outdone, classic and unique vehicles including a Mercedes 560 SEC, a vintage Chevy Caprice Station Wagon, and a Ford 350 Fire Rescue Truck added a touch of nostalgia to the event. The highlight for the younger audience was undoubtedly the Tony Kart, which captivated the imagination of budding enthusiasts.
Weather influenced the car count, resulting in approximately 25 cars on display, featuring an impressive array of Ferraris such as the Ferrari 599, FF, 348, and 308. Explore all the event photos from the Cooks & Cars F1 Watch Party and Car Show below.
The F1 Bahrain GP ended with both Red Bull cars claiming the top two spots, while the Ferraris secured third and fourth places. The season opener mirrored the 2023 season finale, with Max Verstappen clinching the victory and leading the points once again.
This event wasn’t just a memorable day for F1 fans and car enthusiasts; it was a vivid demonstration of community, culinary excellence, and automotive passion all coming together under one roof. It personified the spirit of Metro Motorcar Club and underscored the unique synergy between the worlds of culinary arts and motor sports. Whether you came for the food, the cars, or the exhilarating (maybe an overstatement) F1 action, the Cooks & Cars F1 Watch Party was an event that delivered on all fronts, proving to be a celebration of passion, precision, and shared joy.
