Own a Piece of NASCAR Royalty: 2003 Kyle Petty #45 Dodge Intrepid for Sale
If you’re a die-hard NASCAR fan or a collector of motorsports history, this is your chance to own a rare and storied machine tied to one of racing’s most iconic families.
Metro Motorcar Club is proud to offer for sale a 2003 Petty Enterprises #45 Dodge Intrepid—driven by Kyle Pettyhimself during the 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville. Kyle, the son of NASCAR legend Richard Petty (“The King”), carried the family legacy into the new millennium, and this car is a tangible piece of that continuing story.
This paint scheme was also featured in the NASCAR IMAX movie, making it a double dose of NASCAR history—both on the track and on the big screen.
The car is all original with the exception of the motor, which has been replaced with a Dodge crate engine. It’s been set up for road racing and does run, although it hasn’t been started in over five years. Whether you’re looking to restore, display, or race in a vintage or historic series, this car offers a solid platform with serious pedigree.
Included with the car:
- An extra hood
- A custom-fit car cover
- Signed memorabilia from Kyle Petty
- Extra Set of NASCAR Rims
The car was also shown extensively during its earlier years and has been in my personal collection since 2008. It’s been kept dry and protected—and now, it’s time to pass it on to someone who’ll honor its past and maybe even give it a new chapter.
If you’re ready to add a crown jewel to your collection or hit the track in something truly special, this is it.
