The all-star team will be comprised of champions from three major race series; Jenson Button, a 2009 Formula One Champion, Jimmie Johnson with his impressive seven-time title in NASCAR and Mike Rockenfeller as 2013 DTM champion and victorious victor in 2010’s Le Mans overall win

NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Chevrolet, IMSA and Goodyear have joined forces to create an enhanced version of the Next Gen Chevy Camaro ZL1 for racing in 2023.

Garage 56 is a unique racing program that has been a part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2012. The program was created to showcase innovative technologies and advanced vehicles that push the boundaries of motorsports.

Garage 56 Over The Years

Over the years, Garage 56 has been home to some amazing and innovative cars. In 2012, Nissan’s Deltawing was the first car to participate in Garage 56. It was special because of its super cool design and efficient engine. The next year, another groundbreaking car called the ZEOD RC joined the party. This car could run on electric power for part of the lap, and then switch to gasoline for the rest.

In 2016, the Garage 56 program welcomed the E-Team of the BRAID Clan, which featured the first ever hybrid engine car in Le Mans history. This car was powered by both an electric motor and a gasoline engine, and it set a new benchmark for hybrid technology in racing.

This program has helped several car manufacturers, including Nissan, Toyota, and Audi. These companies have used the program to test new technologies and show what they can do to the world. They have also used it to make people aware of their brand and that they are committed to being sustainable and innovative.

The Garage 56 program is still exciting and important for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. This program gets attention from fans and people who work in the industry from all around the world. This shows how innovation and exploring new ideas is powerful and helps move the world of racing cars forward.
